The GENROSE Architectural Design team consists of project-focused designers with vast expertise in all materials. We inspire excitement through innovative products and wide selection. Our goal is to always source the right material for your project. We employ our in-house Connecticut manufacturing capabilities for making handmade tile, cutting and mesh mounting mosaics, and fabricating natural stone, porcelain, and glass. Trust in Genrose that you will receive the highest quality products and best customer service from design concept through installation.

This A+D team has a combination of over 40 years of experience in custom projects - residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, retail environments, and more. The possibilities are endless with Genrose offering a wide variety of stone and tile materials – porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, glass, enamel, metal, luxury vinyl, handmade, pebble, pavers including mosaics and waterjet designs. Plus, slabs from natural stone, quartz and porcelain.

 

Chelsey DiNoia

Chelsey DiNoia has a diverse background in sales, merchandising, and design consultation across multiple industries. Prior to moving into her current role as an A&D Sales Representative, she worked as a Design Consultant in our Middletown, CT showroom. Chelsey has over 10 years experience in the design world including museum curation, art gallery sales, and interior design. She has a passion for design and commitment to customer service excellence, and the ability to blend creativity with technical proficiency to deliver outstanding results.

 

Elinor Slomiak Elinor Slomiak has built strong relationships with architects, developers, and general contractors to understand their requirements and deliver results that exceed expectations. Elinor has 16+ years of experience in the stone and tile industry, sourcing stone overseas to servicing national accounts with projects that required customized product design and budget solutions for large-scale applications. Married with three wonderful children, she has a passion for art, travel, photography, and design.   Jamie Alwang James "Jamie" Alwang started in the tile industry making sample boards, moving up to importing and logistics, and is currently involved in the selection of new tile and stone products. His unique background in all aspects of the industry allows him to be an excellent resource to his design clients and the Architectural Sales staff. Jamie enjoys traveling abroad sourcing material, loves autos, water sports and biking.   Jon Asava With extensive experience in Industrial Design from the College for Creative Studies, Jon Asava has developed a keen appreciation for blending form and function. His design background shapes his approach as he expertly guides clients in choosing materials that make a lasting impact on their daily environments. Jon’s passion for design is driven by his fascination with how carefully selected materials can transform spaces and elevate everyday experiences. Outside of work, Jon enjoys hiking, hunting, camping, and exploring the great outdoors, drawing inspiration from nature to enrich his design perspective.   Samantha Zayas An A&D sales professional with over 10 years of experience navigating the fast-paced New York City design industry. She is known for building strong partnerships, advancing projects efficiently, and delivering results where innovative ideas intersect with tight timelines. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new spots around the city or chasing a high not at karaoke.   Tony Almeida Tony Almeida joined Genrose Stone & Tile in 2008 with 32 years of experience in the Tile & Stone industry. He has been involved in all segments of the tile & stone industry from installing at a young age to sourcing products from tile factories around the world. Tony has been known to be a proactive leader with abundant experience.
